Antique Mall at Olde Engine Works

Part historic time travel, part antiques and collectibles smorgasbord.

An active manufacturer of machine products until 1989, the Olde Engine Works survives as an antique co-operative that houses thousands upon thousands of rare, unique and antique items.

One of the largest antique co-ops in the Poconos, the Olde Engine Works Market Place Antique Mall is celebrating its 15th year.

The Co-Op features over 125 separate dealers, with an inventory that changes daily. The Olde Engine Works is open all year, 7 days a week.

Come see this great selection of antiques including primitives and vintage items.

Olde Engine Works Market Place

stroudsburg engine works company photoThis large structure was home for almost a century to the Stroudsburg Engine Works - a company that made hoists used to lift large, bulky and heavy objects.

Beginning in 1903, the company fashioned steam-powered hoists that helped build our railroad infrastructure including many bridges and stones from quarries.

During the Second World War, the hoists found on the Liberty Ships were manufactured here. And, in keeping with maritime tradition, after the war many fishing boats were equipped with hoists that lifted large nets and catch.

Now, as a gallery of merchants selling antiques and collectibles, the Olde Engine Works keeps on chugging, seven days a week. Stop by and see some of the treasure that's there.
