This well-maintained facility on 10 acres is is like a theme park devoted to fishing. If you've never cast a lure, baited a hook or caught a fish, this is the place to get started.
Open from mid-March thru October, there are several different ponds to choose from (including a beginners pond) and stocked weekly from their own farm-raised hatchlings.
Catch of the Day: Brown Trout, Brook Trout, Rainbow and (my favorite) Golden Trout.. Like Bass? Hook a Large mouth or hybrid. It's no small fry either. With thousands of 12" - 22" fish just waiting.
With No Fishing License required, fishing pole rentals available, a bait and tackle shop on site, and thousands of eager fish waiting, the $2.50 admission fee could be the least expensive activity in the Poconos - just pay for what you catch and skip the trip to the grocery store.
Group rates and birthday parties welcome - perfect for that unruly tribe of rebels your son calls his friends.
Features a quite location with several ponds, well-maintained facility, friendly staff, picnic areas, shade trees and everything you need to have a great outdoor experience.
