breakfasts and dinners in their Colosseum Dining Room, the very best
entertainment every night in the Champagne Palace Nightclub, and an
endless array of outdoor and indoor activities, from water-skiing and
boating in the summer to snowmobiling and snow tubing in the winter.
A bit of history...It all started with a heart-shaped
whirlpool bath-for-two thirty years ago. Soon Cove Haven became the "Land
of Love" and a popular destination for couples seeking a romantic vacation
or honeymoon.
Then Cove Haven became the world's first resort to offer
private, in-room swimming pools . . . and finally the exclusive,
world-famous seven-foot tall Champagne Glass Whirlpool Bath-for-Two. Who
knows what they'll think of next, but in the meantime...
* Here's the fine print about rates: They are subject to change, they
do not include a 7.75% room tax nor a 15% service charge. They do, however,
include all-you-can-eat breakfasts (or breakfast in bed) and dinners. They
also include all activities, recreational equipment use, and nightly
entertainment.
The first suite I
stayed at in Cove Haven, the Garden of Eden Apple, has no
windows at all and is completely soundproof - if only the walls could talk!
The Garden of Eden - sometimes referred to as "the Garden of Evil"-
features a private swimming pool, sauna, fireplace, mirrored king-size round bed, and the signature heart-shaped
Jacuzzi for two. What fun!
What's cool about Cove Haven is the lack of pressure to do anything while
you're there. Sure, there's lots to do on the resort, but if you decide
to keep to yourselves and stay in your room - and many couples do - then
that's just fine. After all, isn't why you came in the first place?
Don't confuse staying in your room with having nothing
to do, however. After all, it's the rooms that most people find the main
attraction at Cove Haven...
It's a good thing they provide all-you-can-eat
breakfasts
and dinners with the package price - you'll may need that extra energy to keep
yourself going, and going and going.
And, just in case you do venture out, you'll find a showcase of
professional entertainment and some very nice facilities - all included in your package.

I know, I didn't really "get it" until I actually stayed there. Now it all makes sense why
it's called "the Land of Love" and is so popular with couples in love.
