Historic Sites in the Poconos

Early Native Americans lived here. It was called the "Frontier" during the French-Indian War. The American Revolution has roots here. Monumental Civil War artifacts can be found here.

The Industrial Revolution passed through and left an important legacy. Conservation was born here. The Victorian Age prospered and a literary heritage was fostered.

Modern American Film was made here, and many American legends and icons passed through, lived and made their mark here in the Poconos.
