Mountaintop Lodge is CLOSED and is reportedly up for sale.

Built in 1928, the lodge sits on beautiful woodlands in the heart of the mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Upon entering the Lodge, guests are welcomed by a lively espresso bar featuring world class coffee drinks, gourmet sandwiches, and sinful desserts.

You may choose to relax, spend a lazy afternoon on our grand porch, or read a book next to the huge stone fireplace in the Great Room.

Mountaintop Lodge

Merrily and Colin have combined their years of hospitality experience in cities such as New York, Seattle, and San Francisco into the Mountaintop Lodge. You will find a truly unique experience filled with pleasant surprises in an atmosphere where your privacy, comfort and convenience are our top priority.

Each guest room is appointed with a thick luxurious mattress accented by a down comforter and guests enjoy the convenience of a private bath. Your morning begins with a gourmet country breakfast served on private tables in the Great Room.

From New York and East
Just under two hours from Manhattan. Take interstate 80 West to 380 West. Take exit #8 for "Pocono." Go left off the ramp and follow Rte.940 West for 3 miles. "Mountaintop Lodge" will be on your right-hand side

From Philadelphia and Allentown
Just under two hours from Philadelphia. Take N.E. extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Rte.476) to exit 35. Turn left off the ramp, and follow Rte 940 East approximately 14 miles through two traffic lights. "Mountaintop Lodge" is 1 mile on the left from the second traffic light.

From Scranton and Route 81
Just over half an hour from Scranton. Take Rte. 380 East. Take exit #8 for "Pocono." Take a right off the ramp. Go 5 miles, look for "Mountaintop Lodge" on your right.
