Pulling into the entrance, you pass through the wrought iron gate and down a beautiful tree-lined drive. The Inn has a Tudor-style stone exterior surrounded by black walnut trees, beautiful pines and a three acre lake.

Walking through the door, one finds that the warm and comfortable atmosphere is immediately inviting. Shown to your room, you unpack, wash-up and then the fun begins.

The woods, fields and ponds surrounding the Inn off a variety of activities that keep any guest busy. You can swim, boat or fish for bass in our lake or take a nap in our hammock. Go pick wild flowers or fresh berries for breakfast. The Black Walnut Country Inn also offers lawn games, a game room with a pool table and ping pong table, an outdoor hot tub and a petting zoo. There are additional attractions near and around the quaint Victorian town of Milford, including national historic landmarks, the Delaware River activities, golfing, skiing and specialty shopping.
