A breath of fresh air has hit this legendary Poconos resort with a complete make-over and the addition of a casino.

Although labeled a "Casino", the Mount Airy casino offers slots only. It's new, it's nice, but if you're looking for anything other than slots, you'll be disappointed.

The resort has been upgraded, and refitted. Accommodations, while on the smaller side are fairly nicely appointed, but fall short of the "luxury" label the resort cites. Similarly, the restaurant dishes will disappoint foodies.

The resort also comes up short on the "resort" side. An oversized hotel label might be more accurate. There is a golf course - with an interesting twist.

It is what it is, the addition of slots has made a big impact on the upgrade that has transformed Mt Airy into the 21st Century.
