Under new ownership, but still not open. Located near Lake Wallenpaupack, Tanglwood has been a favorite local sking area for over 40 years. Downhill, snow boarding and snow tubing are all available - as are rentals.
With 8 trails, 100% snowmaking and 100% night skiing. Open Thursday thru Sunday and holidays.

Skiiers looking for other ski areas can also consider the Big Bear ski resort - also located in Pike County in the small town of Lackawaxen. Sno Mountain and Elk Mountain are also good bets - further east and northeast, respectively.
